Marxism in my Blood

"The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles." Such opens the work of the co-founder of the Marxism thought. These lins are from Karl Marx's The Communist Manifesto, which was one of the best works ever pertaining to the Marxism thought. Karl Marx propounded a new class structure in the capitalist society. According to him, the society could be categorised into the Proletariat and the Bourgeoisie. This categorisation is based on production rather than just wealth which is the case in the Capitalistic societies. The Proletariat is the sction that has people who are the receiving end, which means they produce. The Bourgeoisie is the other lucky section who are at the end which owns the production. Marxism reached a hilt in the once-existing USSR. Several marxists tried to make ourown India adopt this theory but of no avail. On the contrary, the once dreamt classless society is paving the way for a society which is markedly categorised into the Haves and Have-nots. Sometimes, I wonder how is it when a person believes in the Marxist theory but then, the times are such that he just cannot survive with such idealogies. Thats of course, considering the fact that he wants to succeed and make it big in life. I ponder if there exists a middle path and I realise there isnt any. I just wish I am able to mix both these schools of thought well so that i end up with a peaceful and successful existence on Planet Earth.
